A Conversation with the U.S. Surgeon General

To celebrate National Know Your Classmates™ Day, U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy joins schools all over the country to talk about connection, belonging and the well-being of children and teens. Dr. Murthy will share powerful insights about the pandemic and social isolation with Teen Board members of Beyond Differences, whose mission is to inspire youth to end social isolation and build a culture of belonging in their schools.
Dr. Murthy contributed to the 2021 Know Your Classmates curriculum by providing discussion questions to help students reflect upon the challenges and positive outcomes they experienced during the pandemic to help them move forward.
